Direct Data Capture (DDC), Freight Process Outsourcing (FPO). DDC FPO was established as the North American Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) division of The DDC Group to focus solely on the back-office needs of the transportation industry.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUTSOURCING AND OFFSHORING?
Outsourcing is when you hire an outside vendor, agency, consultancy firm, etc. to perform certain non-core functions of your business (e.g. billing, AP/AR, Call Center, HR, etc.). Outsourcing functions can be done across the street or across the globe.
Offshoring is the process of moving those functions mentioned above to an offshore location. This is done for many reasons, but some of the main reasons are for cost savings, hours of operation, or because the Offshore provider specializes in that particular function.

Because of the complexities associated with outsourcing certain back-office functions, ideally, our team would like to go through a period of discovery and testing to ensure we have looked at all the necessary information prior to providing a quote.
HOW DOES THE PROCESS OF OUTSOURCING WORK?
There are a variety of ways to complete the work, but most services consist of gaining remote access through a secure connection into the clients’ system. Services consisting of billing, rating, AP, etc. would be completed in real time from our production facilities around the world.
